About Us

SOFTBALL-BASEBALL SVOBODA, z. s. is a community-driven non-profit organization based in the Czech Republic, dedicated to the development, promotion, and sustainability of softball and baseball. Founded with a passion for sport and community building, the organization serves as a platform for athletes of all ages and skill levels to learn, compete, and grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.

At SVOBODA, we believe that sports are more than just games—they are powerful tools for personal development, social connection, and positive change. Our organization works to create opportunities for children, youth, and adults to engage in structured sports activities that promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, and respect. Whether someone is picking up a bat for the first time or striving to compete at a higher level, we provide the guidance, coaching, and resources needed to help them succeed.

Our programs are designed to nurture both recreational and competitive players. We offer regular training sessions led by experienced coaches, organize local leagues and friendly matches, and participate in regional and national competitions. In addition, we host tournaments and community events that bring people together, celebrate sportsmanship, and strengthen the local sports culture.

A key part of our mission is youth development. We are committed to introducing young people to softball and baseball in a fun, safe, and engaging way. Through our youth programs, we focus not only on athletic skills but also on building confidence, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and teaching important life values such as commitment and fair play.

SVOBODA also actively collaborates with schools, local authorities, and other sports organizations to expand access to sports facilities and opportunities. By building strong partnerships, we aim to increase participation in softball and baseball and ensure these sports continue to thrive in our region.
