1. Who we are

SOFTBALL-BASEBALL SVOBODA, z. s. (IČO: 60150807), a registered association with its seat at Budějovická, Na Pankráci 409/1a, 140 00 Praha 4, Czechia, is the controller of personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@softballsvoboda.org or +420 255 715 111.

2. What we collect

• Contact enquiries: the name, email address, subject and message you choose to send us.
• Membership and participation records: details needed to register a player, guardian consent for minors, and emergency contact information.
• Basic technical data required to deliver the website securely (such as your IP address in server logs).

3. Why we process it

We process personal data to answer enquiries, organise training sessions and competitions, keep members safe, and meet our legal and accounting duties as a Czech association. Our legal bases are consent, performance of the membership relationship, our legitimate interest in running the association, and legal obligations.

4. No monetisation of your data

We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not run advertising networks or behavioural profiling on this website, and we do not share visitor data with data brokers.

5. Cookies

This website uses only what is strictly necessary to load and display pages. No marketing or tracking cookies are set. Embedded map content is loaded from OpenStreetMap, which may record the request in its own logs.

6. Sharing and transfers

Data may be shared with our email and hosting providers acting as processors, and with sports federations or public authorities only where participation or law requires it. We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA unless an appropriate safeguard under the GDPR is in place.

7. Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months. Membership and accounting records are kept for the periods required by Czech law, then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@softballsvoboda.org and we will respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

9. Children

For participants under 15 years of age, we require the consent of a parent or legal guardian before processing registration data, and we publish photographs only with written permission.

10. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, inform members directly.
